Job description

Tiler required to perform all duties related to installing ceramic, porcelain, glass and marble tile into residential homes and commercial buildings.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years experience
- Good practical skills and cleanliness are essential
- Ability to layout an area and to follow design plans
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Maths skills for calculating material quantities
- Creative flair and a good eye for design/detail
- Customer service skills

Duties:

- Setting out an area to estimate the amount of tiles and adhesive needed
- Cutting tiles to size and shape around objects such as fittings and pipes
- Preparing surfaces by levelling off with plaster, sand or cement
- Arrange tiles according to design/layout plans and applying grout before finishing off
