Job Responsibilities:
Your Responsibilities will include but not necessarily be limited to:
- Manage stock control and reconcile with SAGE system
- Keep stock control system up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
- Responsible for quarterly stock takes of the warehouse
- Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies
- Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
- Responsible for the supplier returns
- Responsible for recording and palletise all materials being dispatched including all returns from supply and fit contracts
- Plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, order assembly and dispatch of goods for daily / weekly supply and fit contracts
- Use space and mechanical handling equipment (e.g. Fork Lift) efficiently and making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
- Responsible for the segregation of packaging materials and building waste (plastic, cardboard, timber, rubble and scrap metals) as well as the processing of same (baling...etc.)
- Respond to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone
- Organising customer deliveries on a weekly basis as effeciently as possible
- Produce regular reports and statistics on a weekly and monthly basis (in/out status report, dead stock, report ... etc.)
- Plan future storage capacity requirements
- Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
- Maintain standards of Health and Safety, Hygiene and Security in warehouse
