Job description

- While a horticultural qualification is not essential for this position, you must be able to demonstrate a proven interest in plants & flowers
- Experience in a garden centre, florists or a merchandising role would be a distinct advantage
- Previous experience in a retail environment is essential
- You must be familiar with computerised stock and sales systems

Duties will include:
- Assisting customers in selecting plants/flowers/shrubs etc
- Preparation of window boxes /containers
- Monitoring & maintaining displays, inc pricing & promotions
- Organising incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Maintaining the standards of quality and cleanliness in the garden centre
- Our Garden Centre is a 7 day a week operation in Spring & Summer and you will be expected to work weekends
