- Experienced Full time Manager
- Experience of managing a Childcare setting desirable but not essential

Minimum Qualifications:
- Third Level Qualifications in Management including Human Resources and business management
- The Childcare Manager will report and be accountable to the Board of Management

Main Job Purpose:
- To ensure the effective daily management of the Childcare Service in accordance with the policies and procedures of the Service, the Childcare (Pre School Services) Regulations 2016, any other relevant legislation, good practice requirements and be accountable to the board of directors
- To ensure the safety and well-being of all children attending the Service
- To ensure a dynamic curriculum is delivered to meet the individual needs of children attending the service
- To Lead, Coach & Develop all Staff Members & provide ongoing staff support & guidance to all staff as needed
- To Support and develop professional relationships with families using the Service
- To monitor and ensure that all agreed quality and safety standards are maintained in the Service at all times

The ideal candidate should be:
- Highly self motivated, innovative & enthusiastic
- Have excellent leadership skills to lead and motivate the childcare and auxiliary team
- Have strong communication, organisational and IT skills
- Have a keen passion for working with children
- Have a good knowledge & understanding of the needs within a Full Day Care Service
- Be Flexible and reliable
