Panel Saw Operator

Principle duties and responsibilities:
- Operating panel saw and cutting sheet material to size, as required on cutting list
- Verify accuracy and quality of cuts
- Marking pieces for further processing
- Adjusting saw blades
- Stock control
- Informing Manufacturing production manager about any malfunctioning of panel saw
- Following priorities as schedules of Furniture production manager
- Following rules and procedures
- Following any health & safety requirements

The successful candidate must:
- Be fluent in written and spoken English
- Have good attention to details
- Be able to deal with heavy lifting
- Be able to work as a team member and show ability to work on its own initiative
- Be willing to work while embracing a Lean Process Manufacturing system
- Be flexible and able to work on multiple projects at any time
- Have relevant experience working in a workshop/manufacture environment with machinery
- Gross starting salary is dependent on experience
- Assistance with relocating can be provided
