Killarney Race Company is recruiting a General Manager reporting directly to the Company Chairman and Board of Directors.

As General Manager, you will drive the company's revenue through the implementation of strategic plans. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all the varied aspects of the business from real estate, venue hire, events, racing and golf.

Key personnel reporting to the General Manager include the financial controller and all sales and marketing, track, maintenance, racing and events managers. It is anticipated that the successful candidate will take the company to a new level as it strives to be one of Ireland's leading sporting and entertainment venues.

The ideal candidate must have:
- A proven track record
- Strong leadership, communication skills and a natural ability to drive, build and sustain strong relationships within a multi-stakeholder environment
- Is willing to work flexibly in the pursuit of business objectives and events
- A relevant qualification in managemet would be seen as an advantage
