Overview of the role:
Listowel CFRC is seeking a reliable, proactive, and detail orientated Childrens Centre Cleaner to join our busy childcare setting. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaing a safe, hygienic and welcome environment for children, families and staff.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Daily cleaning of preschool and creche rooms, play areas, bathrooms, kitchens and common spaces
- Safe and correct use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Maintaining thing hygiene standards in line with childcare and infection-control guidelines
- Following a cleaning schedule and centre checklist to ensure all tasks are completed
- Regular disinfecting of high-touch surfaces
- Waste disposal and restocking of supplies
- Assisting with deep-clean tasks when required

Applicants must meet the following:
- Previous working experience as a cleaner (desirably in a similar setting)
- An interest in working in a community-based setting
- Knowledge and skills of maintaining a high standard of personal and environmental hygiene
- Knowledge of cleaning products and allergies

Terms and Conditions:

Location:
Listowel Community and Family Resource Centre, Ballygologue, John B Keane Road, Listowel, Co. Kerry, V31 EC62

Contract:
- 1 year fixed term

Probation:
- 6 month

Hours:
- 10 per week (Flexibility and some evening / weekend work may be required)
