Sports Hall Event Assistant - Position Available

We are seeking a dependable and organised individual to support the weekly preparation and reset of our sports hall. This role involves event setup, heavy lifting of seating and equipment, and the safe setup and takedown of inflatables.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining storerooms, ensuring all storage areas remain clean, orderly, and easily accessible.

- Required availability: Saturday and Monday - Other days negotiable
- Team-focused role with clear operational duties
- Physically active position requiring reliability and attention to detail
- Event setup - Prepare the sports hall for a variety of weekend events (sports, parties, community activities)
- Heavy lifting - Move and arrange seating, staging, barriers, and other equipment; role requires good physical strength
- Inflatable setup - Safely set up and take down inflatables, ensuring correct anchoring and storage
- Hall reset - Clear and reset the hall after events so it?s ready for the next booking
- Weekend availability - Essential availability for Saturdays and Monday mornings. Other days can be negotiated
- Teamwork - Work alongside staff to ensure smooth, timely event transitions
- Safety awareness - Follow all safety procedures for lifting, equipment handling, and inflatable operation
